Moldova Fencing Trophy | First Edition - 14 December 2025, Romania
On 14 December 2025, the first edition of the Moldova Fencing Trophy was successfully organized at Moldova Mall in Iași, bringing together young fencers, coaches and members of the local community in a dynamic celebration of sport and fair play.
The competition gathered 79 athletes representing six fencing clubs from Iași and Bârlad region. Participants competed in three age categories, providing young athletes with valuable competitive experience and opportunities to develop their sporting skills in a professional and supportive environment. The competition aimed to promote fencing among children and young people, encourage participation in sporting activities, and provide athletes with an opportunity to demonstrate their technical skills and competitive spirit in a professional and inclusive environment.
During the event Inclusive Sport Project was promoted. Information about the project’s objectives, activities, and expected results was presented to athletes, parents, coaches, and visitors attending the competition. Particular emphasis was placed on the project's mission to increase access to sport for people with disabilities and special educational needs through the adaptation of fencing techniques and the development of inclusive training methodologies. Project promotional materials were displayed throughout the venue and discussions were held with participants and spectators regarding the importance of inclusion, equal opportunities, and the social benefits of sport.
20th International festival “Play with Me” – 26-30 May 2026, Slovenia
A practical fencing workshop was held in Ljubljana during the fantastic setting of the Slovenian International Festival “Play with Me” as part of our Inclusive Sport project.
What better occasion than a festival inspired by inclusion, movement, and sports - all wrapped up in fun - to promote fencing?
Our project aims to develop an adapted fencing methodology, and it was inspiring to showcase the first steps we’ve taken during the festival!
